South of Ireland Blue Faced Leicester Sale 2019 was held last Saturday 14th September in Ballinrobe
We would like to thank our judge on William Adams from Holmview flock who cast his experienced eye on the stock on show and would like to wish him best of luck with his upcoming blue sales in Ballymena
Mr Adams found his Champion from a Ram Lamb from Tom Staunton Mask View and tom also recieved Reserve Champion with Hogget Ram
Top Price ram lamb on the day 1600 from Clogher flock, Malinhead flock topped at 1400 with a Ram lamb and Mask View at 1200
Top Price shearling came from Faughburren Flock at 1450 followed by Woodview flock at 1300 and Mask View with 3 shearlings at 1200
Females topped at 300 with 1st Prize Ewe Lamb from Firmount flock
Shearlings Averaged €620 For 40 sold
Ram lambs averaged €600 for 55 sold
females averaged €225 for 13 sold
