The annual sale of Bluefaced Leicester sheep was held in Armoy Mart and resulted in a slightly disappointing trade.
V & C Butler, Glenmakeeran topped the sale at 920 gns sired by J1 Midlock selling to L & M Blaney Ballymena. V & C Butler also received 780 gns for another shearling, this one by J6 Edlingham. Ian Montgomery, Misty Burn topped the ram section at 880 gns for the presale champion judged by Kieran McGrath sired by Farden Popeye selling to Trevor Butler, Ballycastle. Brendan McElhennon, Slievegallion received 780 gns sired by K3 Kirkby Redgate. Declan McKillop, Giants Causeway received 700 gns twice both by K1 Tievebuaile Farm. Ian Montgomery topped the ewe lamb sale at 500 gns for another by Farden Popeye.
