Tavistock

The Tenth Annual sale of Registered Bluefaced Leicesters took place within Tavistock Livestock Centre with 47 sheep on offer.

Top price was achieved for the very first lot offered for sale – Lot 1 on the catalogue a homebred shearling ram from Helen Havill, Martin Grange 3585 M10 sired by Shrewbridge 3114 G002 selling at 800gns.  Helen also sold another homebred shearling ram at 580gns.

Messrs C Pearse & Son, Barramoor  sold their two homebred shearlings 4911/M004 and 4911/M005 to 600gns and 580gns respectively they were both sired by 3980/L011 Yelland.

Ram Lambs crossing type from P L Heard, Yelland 3980/N011 sired by 4045/M001 Linkshead Top Gun selling at 500gns.

D Ridge, Lakehead  had forward 2 traditional Ram Lambs sold at 500gns each.

There was one female forward a ewe lamb from P L Heard, Yelland 3980/N012 sired by 4045/M001 Linkshead Top Gun and she sold for 400gns.
