Tavistock Ram & Female Sale

The 7th annual Bluefaced Leicester sale was held in Tavistock Market under the kind sponsorship of Richard Ridout. Chris Clapham of Stags auctioneers did a grand job of drawing bids for the wide variety of sheep forward. The pre-sale show was judged by Bluefaced Leicester breeder and enthusiast, Adam Garthwaite and his final decisions were as follows:

The male champion was P L Heard’s shearling ram with his ram lamb as reserve male champion. The female champion was N Cole’s gimmer shearling with P L Heard’s ewe lamb in the reserve spot. Overall champion of the day was awarded to P L Heard’s shearling ram with his ram lamb receiving the reserve champion rosette.
