Armoy Ram & Female Sale

This year’s sale was judged by Mr Richard Graham who chose a ram lamb as his champion from Michelle Wright. This ram lamb was sired by Duhonw C22 and was out of a ewe by Carrick Rock A1. This ram lamb sold for the joint top price of 1000 gns to D & E McGavel, Hickeys Brae.

Also in joint price of 1000 gns were the following – a shearling sired by Old Hemley A5 ‘E+’ and out of a ewe by St Ravenscar X3 from Tom Crowe, Learmore who sold to B Harkin and a ram lamb sired by Creevamoy A5 and out of a ewe by Orravale Y1 from E McKeegan, Glenane who sold to McCormick Bros.

The reserve overall champion was a ewe lamb sired by Midlock W25 and out of a ewe by Hewgill M8 from E McKeegan, Glenane.
